Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procesos para producir etanol que comprenden sacarificar material que contiene celulosa o almidón y fermentar el material sacarificado con un microorganismo fermentador para producir etanol. UU.), la cepa de Saccharomyces cerevisiae MBG5248 (depositada con el n.º de registro Y-68015 en la Agricultural Research Service Culture Collection (NRRL), Illinois 61604 EE. UU.) o un organismo fermentador que tiene propiedades que son las mismas o aproximadamente las mismas que las de Saccharomyces cerevisiae MBG5151 o MBG5248.
