Abstract
Un sistema de secado por pulverización electrostática que comprende una boquilla de pulverización electrostática para dirigir líquido eléctricamente cargado a una cámara de secado, una entrada de gas de secado desde la cual el gas de secado es dirigido simultáneamente, y un pleno de dirección de polvo cónico para recibir gas de secado y polvo seco arrastrado para dirigirlo a un filtro que contiene el pleno de separación de polvo a través de un conducto de conexión. El pleno de dirección de polvo y el conducto de conexión tienen, cada uno, un intercambiador de calor de camisa de agua circundante a través del cual el agua de enfriamiento es dirigida para enfriar el gas de secado y polvo por debajo de temperaturas dañinas antes de la entrada al pleno de separación de polvo. El pleno de separación de polvo tiene una línea de retorno para redirigir gas de secado separado a la cámara de secado a través de un condensador, ventilador y calentador para reutilización en el sistema, con agua condensada siendo selectivamente redirigida a la entrada del intercambiador de calor de pleno de dirección de polvo y/o al suministro de agua de enfriamiento.
