Abstract
Se describe una lente de contacto que libera ácido oleico, así como método de fabricación de la misma. La lente de contacto que libera ácido oleico contiene ácido oleico adherido liberablemente al cuerpo de lente polimérica, y libera de 2 µg a 25 µg de ácido oleico después de 1 hora en un medio de liberación. La lente de contacto que libera ácido oleico puede ser usada cómodamente por un usuario de lentes de contacto sintomático, y puede aumentar la duración del tiempo de uso cómodo de lentes y/o reducir los eventos de percatación de lentes en un usuario de lentes de contacto sintomático.
