Abstract

La presente descripción se relaciona con una composición curable acuosa libre de formaldehído que comprende: A) un polímero polimerizado a partir de una mezcla de monómeros que comprende (a) 30-90 % en peso de acrilato de alquilo C1-C10; (b) 10-60 % en peso de compuestos aromáticos vinilos; (c) 0.5-10 % en peso de un compuesto etilénicamente insaturado que tiene al menos dos grupos ácido carboxílico; (d) 0-10 % en peso de un ácido etilénicamente insaturado que tiene un grupo ácido carboxílico; (e) 0-5 % en peso de otros monómeros etilénicamente insaturados; en donde los porcentajes se basan en el peso total de la mezcla de monómeros; y B) un catalizador de titanio.
