Abstract

Se provee un aparato de diagnóstico basado en una mascarilla para detectar un biomarcador contenido en el aliento exhalado de un sujeto de prueba. Un colector de condensado de aliento exhalado (EBC) convierte el vapor de aliento recibido de los pulmones y las vías respiratorias del sujeto de prueba en una muestra biológica fluida. El colector EBC que incluye una masa térmica, una superficie de formación de condensado y un conductor de fluido dispuestos sobre la superficie de formación de condensado. Un sistema de transferencia de fluidos recibe la biomuestra fluida del colector EBC.
