Abstract

A coil spring 9 is interposed between a suspension member 2 and a vehicle body 7, the suspension member 2 being elastically and swingably supported by a vehicle body 7 and supporting a wheel. The suspension member 2 and a vehicle component 49 assembled to the vehicle body 7 are connected to each other via a securing member 26. The orientation of the suspension member 2 with respect to the vehicle body 7 is forcibly changed so as to increase the gap of a coil spring interposition portion between the vehicle body 7 and the suspension member 2. An excessive change in the orientation of the suspension member 2 is restricted by the securing member 26 and a coil spring 9 is inserted between the vehicle body 7 and the suspension member 2.
