Abstract

Una máquina etiquetadora, que comprende una banda trasportadora (2) de recipientes (3) a ser etiquetados a lo largo de una ruta de avance (3a) y por lo menos una unidad etiquetadora (4) dispuesta a lo largo de dicha ruta de avance (3a) y provista de un respectivo tambor de transferencia (5) que puede moverse en rotación alrededor de su propio eje (5a), con respecto a una base de soporte (6), y que se adapta para recibir, desde una unidad alimentadora (7) y adheridas a su superficie lateral, etiquetas (8) a ser aplicadas a dichos recipientes (3), en una estación de alimentación (9), y para transferir las etiquetas (8) recibidas en dicha estación de alimentación (9) a respectivos recipientes (3) que llegan de dicha banda transportadora (2) a una estación de transferencia (10), que está alejada de manera angular de dicha estación de alimentación (9), alrededor del eje (5a) de dicho tambor de transferencia (5). En la superficie lateral del tambor de transferencia (5) se define por lo menos un sector (14) que se extiende a lo largo de por lo menos una porción de la extensión circunferencial de la superficie lateral del tambor de transferencia (5) y se designa para acomodar, en cada instancia, una sola etiqueta (8) a ser transferida al recipiente correspondiente (3). De conformidad con la invención, por lo menos una porción (14a) del sector (14) se puede mover de manera giratoria, con respecto a la parte restante del tambor de transferencia (5), alrededor de un eje de oscilación (15a), que es sustancialmente paralelo a y separado del eje (5a) del tambor de transferencia (5) para pasar de una posición de recepción de etiquetas, en la que está dispuesto cerca del eje del tambor de transferencia (5), a una posición de transferencia, en la que está dispuesto lejos del eje (5a) del tambor de transferencia (5), y viceversa.
