Abstract

Se describe un método para mejorar una señal del espectro de masas. El método puede incluir poner en contacto una muestra con una columna de separación en condiciones que permitan que los componentes de la muestra se unan al sustrato; aplicarle un primer gradiente móvil a la columna de separación, en donde el gradiente de primera fase móvil comprende ácido trifluoroacético (TFA) y un aditivo de moléculas pequeñas (p. ej., un aminoácido) o ácido fórmico (FA) y un aditivo de moléculas pequeñas (p. ej., un aminoácido); aplicarle un segundo gradiente móvil a la columna de separación, en donde el gradiente de segunda fase móvil comprende TFA en acetonitrilo (ACN) y un aditivo de moléculas pequeñas (p. ej., un aminoácido) o ácido fórmico (FA) en ACN y un aditivo de moléculas pequeñas (p. ej., un aminoácido); y realizar un análisis de espectrometría de masas en componentes de la muestra eluidos.
