Abstract
En este documento se describe un método para fabricar un producto laminado de aleación de aluminio de una aleación de aluminio termotratable, que comprende: fundir de manera semi-continua una aleación de aluminio termotratable en un lingote de laminación; homogeneizar el lingote de laminación a una temperatura máxima del metal (PMT) y por lo cual dicha aleación de aluminio tiene una energía específica asociada con una señal de DSC de menos de 2 J/g en valor absoluto; laminar en caliente el lingote de laminación en múltiples pasos de laminación en caliente a un producto laminado en caliente que tenga un calibre de laminación final de al menos 1 mm, por lo cual el producto laminado en caliente durante al menos uno de los últimos tres pasos de laminación tiene una temperatura de menos de 50°C por debajo de la PMT; templar el producto laminado en caliente en el calibre de laminación final de la temperatura de salida del tren de bandas en caliente a por debajo de 175°C; opcionalmente aliviar el esfuerzo y envejecer el producto laminado en caliente templado y opcionalmente aliviado de esfuerzo.
