Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aparato de empaquetado (1) para empaques termosellados (P) que comprende una cámara de vacío (4) que tiene una abertura alargada (5) que se extiende a lo largo o en paralelo a un eje longitudinal (L) de la cámara de vacío (4) y un transportador (8) configurado para recibir empaques semisellados (P) y para mover los empaques semisellados (P) con respecto a la cámara de vacío (4) a lo largo de una dirección de movimiento principal (M) de manera que cada empaque semisellado (P) colocado en el transportador (8) puede tener, durante el movimiento relativo del empaque semisellado (P) con respecto a la cámara de vacío (4), una porción terminal (TP) que pasa a través de la abertura alargada (5) con su abertura moviéndose relativamente dentro de la cámara de vacío (4), mientras que la porción principal (MP) se mueve relativamente fuera de la cámara de vacío (4). El aparato de empaquetado (1) comprende además medios de evacuación (9) que comunican fluidamente con la cámara de vacío (4) para evacuar el gas presente en los empaques semisellados (P) y formar empaques semisellados evacuados (P). El aparato de empaquetado (1) comprende además un termosellador (13) configurado para termosellar la porción terminal (TP) de cada empaque semisellado al vacío (P) formando así empaques termosellados (P). El aparato de empaquetado (1) está provisto de al menos una unidad de precalentamiento (39, 40) dispuesta a lo largo de la dirección de movimiento principal (M) corriente arriba de la estación de termosellado (14) para precalentar al menos una banda de la porción terminal (TP) de cada empaque semisellado (P) al vacío. También se describe un proceso de empaquetado. El proceso de empaquetado puede utilizar el aparato de empaquetado (1).
