Abstract
Se proveen composiciones con actividad pesticida y métodos de uso de las mismas. Las composiciones incluyen polipéptidos aislados y recombinantes que poseen actividad pesticida, moléculas de ácidos nucleicos recombinantes y sintéticos que codifican los polipéptidos, construcciones de ADN y vectores que comprenden las moléculas de ácido nucleico, células huésped que comprenden los vectores, y anticuerpos para los polipéptidos. Las secuencias de polinucleótidos que codifican los polipéptidos se pueden utilizar en construcciones de ADN o casetes de expresión para la transformación y expresión en organismos de interés. Las composiciones y métodos provistos son útiles para la producción de organismos con una mejor resistencia o tolerancia a las plagas. También se proporcionan plantas y semillas transgénicas que comprenden una secuencia de nucleótidos que codifica una proteína pesticida de la invención. Tales plantas son resistentes a los insectos y otras plagas. Se proveen métodos para la producción de los diversos polipéptidos descriptos en la presente, y para el uso de esos polipéptidos en el control o eliminación de una plaga.
