Abstract
Se ha descubierto ahora un método para la preparación de sales de calcio, magnesio y zinc de azúcares ácidos, que constituye el objeto de la presente invención, que se caracteriza por que el método puede incluir proporcionar un azúcar y oxidar el azúcar en un azúcar ácido en presencia de un catalizador de metales nobles, oxígeno y una fuente heterogénea de hidróxido; preferentemente, la oxidación se lleva a cabo con un catalizador de oro, y una fuente heterogénea de hidróxido de magnesio, calcio o zinc; la oxidación puede llevarse a cabo en un lote o de manera continua.
