Abstract

Una lente antirref1ectante y un método para tratar una lente para reducir la luz visible y la luz ultravioleta a niveles perceptibles para el sistema de visión de un animal y un dispositivo de detección que tiene visión tetracromática o visión dicromática. El método de tratamiento produce un sustrato óptico que es menos perceptible para un animal y un dispositivo de detección perceptible para ver a través del espectro de luz ultravioleta. El método proporciona un sustrato tratado en lados opuestos con un recubrimiento antirreflectante de manera que los reflejos de la luz visible y la luz ultravioleta no sean visibles para el animal y el dispositivo de detección, desde ángulos de incidencia entre 0º y 60º. Los recubrimientos antirref1ectantes se aplican en diferentes cantidades de constituyentes y grosores, que consisten de: capa de adhesión, capas de neterial de bajo índice (Si02), material de alto índice (Zr0:) y superhidrófoba. El sustrato se trata inicialmente con UV y después se recubre con el recubrimiento antirref1ectante para reducir la luz visible y la reflexión de la luz UV entre 300- 400 nanómetros.
