Abstract
En una modalidad, un analizador de muestras biológicas tiene un alojamiento que tiene al menos una pared externa que define una cavidad en el mismo. Un receptáculo, que puede soportar un soporte consumible que contiene una muestra biológica, se dispone dentro de la cavidad. Al menos un calentador aplica calor al soporte consumible cuando el soporte consumible se soporta por el receptáculo. Al menos un sensor de calentador detecta una temperatura del receptáculo con el tiempo. Un controlador dirige el por lo menos un calentador para aplicar una temperatura elevada al soporte consumible y reduce una cantidad de calor aplicado al soporte consumible antes de que el soporte consumible exceda una temperatura objetivo que es menor que la temperatura elevada. Al aplicar la temperatura elevada, el soporte consumible se puede calentar más rápido que si se calienta solo a la temperatura objetivo.
