Abstract
Un sistema, método y herramienta automatizados para la soldadura por fricción portátil se describe para unir una pieza de trabajo giratoria a un sustrato. Se describe un sistema de control que recibe una entrada de arranque para ocasionar que un motor gire rápidamente la pieza de trabajo e inicie un primer ciclo de acumulación de empuje que actúa a través de un accionador para forzar de manera progresiva la pieza de trabajo que gira contra el sustrato. Los materiales en esta intersección se calientan y plastifican y el accionador traduce hacia el sustrato hasta que el extremo de la carrera del accionador deseada funciona para apagar el motor e iniciar y luego mantener un segundo ciclo de empuje axial sobre el accionador y a través de este a la interfaz de la pieza de trabajo y el sustrato. Una entrada de rearme al final de una fase de enfriado libera el empuje en el accionador.
