Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir una espuma de poliuretano flexible hidrófila, en la que (a) al menos un prepolímero de poliuretano que tiene un contenido de isocianato de 5 a 10% en peso, en función del peso del prepolímero de isocianato (a), se mezcla con (b) al menos un componente acuoso en una relación en peso entre el prepolímero de poliuretano (a) y el componente acuoso (b) de 3:1 a 1:1.2 y se deja reaccionar para formar la espuma de poliuretano flexible, en donde el prepolímero de poliuretano (a) se puede obtener al mezclar y hacer reaccionar al menos un isocianato (a1) con al menos un polieterol (a2), donde el isocianato (a1) comprende un diisocianato de metilendifenileno y el polieterol (a2) tiene un número hidroxilo de 30 a 60 mg KOH/g y se puede obtener mediante alcoxilación de al menos una molécula iniciadora difuncional y/o trifuncional con óxido de etileno y óxido de propileno y el contenido de óxido de etileno, en función del peso total de óxido de alquileno, es de al menos 60% en peso, en función del peso total del poliol de poliéter (a2), en donde el polieterol (a2) se puede obtener mediante propoxilación de las moléculas iniciadoras en una primera etapa hasta un número hidroxilo de 400 a 1200 mg KOH/g, seguido de una alcoxilación de la molécula iniciadora propoxilada con una mezcla de óxido de etileno y óxido de propileno y, finalmente, una etoxilación del producto de alcoxilación así obtenido con 2 a 10% en peso de óxido de etileno, en función del óxido de alquileno utilizado para producir el polieterol (a2), y el componente acuoso (b) comprende al menos 90% en peso de agua (b1) y hasta 10% en peso de sustancias tensioactivas que no contienen silicona (b2). La presente invención se refiere además a una espuma de poliuretano flexible que se puede obtener mediante tal proceso y al uso de dicha espuma de poliuretano flexible para tratar heridas.
