Abstract

Un resorte de compresión helicoidal tiene un diámetro exterior de entre 15 y 50 mm. El resorte de compresión helicoidal comprende un alambre de acero enrollado helicoidalmente. El diámetro d (en mm) del alambre de acero está entre 2 y 5 mm. El alambre de acero comprende una aleación de acero, que consta de entre 0.8 y 0.95% en peso de C; entre 0.2 y 0.9 % en peso de Mn; entre 0.1 y 1.4 % en peso de Si; entre 0.15 y 0.4 % en peso de Cr; opcionalmente entre 0.04 y 0.2% en peso de V; opcionalmente entre 0.0005 y 0.008% en peso de B; opcionalmente entre 0.02 y 0.06 % en peso de Al; impurezas inevitables; y el resto es hierro. La aleación de acero tiene un carbono equivalente superior a 1. El carbono equivalente se define como: % en peso de C + (% en peso de Mn/6) + (% en peso de Si/5) + (% en peso de Cr/5) + (% en peso de V/5). La microestructura del alambre de acero en el resorte de compresión helicoidal es perlita laminada estirada.
