Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un aparato para tostar granos de café que comprende: - un recipiente (1) para contener granos de café, - un dispositivo térmico eléctrico (13) para calentar granos de café contenidos en el recipiente, - al menos un sensor de temperatura (23) para medir la temperatura en el recipiente, - un sistema de control (180) operable para controlar el dispositivo térmico, en donde el sistema de control se configura para: - aplicar una receta de tostado dedicada al tostado de granos parcialmente pretostados que comprende al menos un perfil de temperatura contra tiempo al controlar el dispositivo térmico eléctrico basado en la medida del sensor de temperatura, - detectar una disminución del consumo de energía eléctrica del dispositivo térmico en función del tiempo, - detener el calentamiento si no se produce una disminución del consumo de energía eléctrica después de un tiempo de referencia establecido t1. - continuar o detener el dispositivo térmico eléctrico dependiendo del tipo de granos identificados.
