Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y un sistema para la limpieza del agua de las albercas y, en particular, de las albercas cubiertas. La invención está dirigida en particular a reducir la cantidad de subproductos de desinfección (DBF) no deseados que pueden ser perjudiciales al inhalarlos, por ejemplo, sustancias cloradas como la tricloramina. De acuerdo con la invención, se proporciona un sistema electrolítico para la limpieza del agua de las albercas. El sistema electrolítico comprende una disposición de electrodos 100a que incluye un primer electrodo 101 y un segundo electrodo 102, que funcionan como ánodo y cátodo, y una unidad de control electrónico (ECU) 104. La ECU 104 está diseñada para controlar el proceso de manera que el potencial del ánodo esté entre 1.4 V y 2.3 V, más preferiblemente entre 1.6 V y 2.1 V y más preferiblemente entre 1.7 V y 1.9 V con respecto al electrodo de hidrógeno reversible (RHE). El sistema y el método pueden incluir además el uso de un electrodo de referencia 103 con el fin de controlar el potencial del primer o segundo electrodo para que funcione como electrodo de trabajo y sea el ánodo en relación con el otro de los primeros y segundos electrodos que es el cátodo y funciona como contraelectrodo. La ECU 104 podría programarse para controlar alternativamente el primer electrodo 101 y el segundo electrodo 102 para que funcionen como ánodo y cátodo (Figura 1a).
