Abstract
Se describe un aparato para calentar agua que comprende un quemador principal, un quemador piloto, un ensamble de válvula con una válvula principal y una válvula piloto que tiene un obturador, un ensamble magnético termoeléctrico de seguridad con un dispositivo termopar que mantiene abierta la válvula piloto en la presencia de una flama en el quemador piloto, un miembro de botón montado sobre una varilla que es guiado de manera deslizante en el ensamble de válvula y un miembro de encendido eléctrico alimentado mediante un circuito de conexión eléctrica, un dispositivo de conmutación en el circuito está diseñado para ser conmutado por medio del miembro de botón para cerrar el circuito eléctrico cuando el miembro de botón se presiona con el fin de llevar a cabo el accionamiento del ensamble magnético para abrir el paso del gas a través de la válvula piloto hacia el quemador piloto y para encender la flama piloto por medio de las chispas generadas por el miembro de encendido.
