Abstract
Las fumonisinas son un tipo de micotoxinas que contaminan diferentes productos, por ejemplo, piensos y productos alimenticios, incluidos los productos a base de maíz, lo que puede provocar graves riesgos para la salud de los seres humanos y del ganado. Los métodos actuales para destoxificar productos contaminados con fumonisinas son complejos y costosos.
