Abstract
Dispositivo para determinar el contorno de la banda lateral y/o la posición de los bordes de la banda de una banda de metal, con al menos un elemento palpador para recoger datos de medición adecuados. El elemento palpador está integrado en una guía lateral (17) con módulo del cuerpo base del dispositivo transportador de bandas de metal. La guía lateral (17) comprende al menos un cuerpo de desgaste (15a, 15b, 15c) dispuesto en la guía lateral, con dispositivo de ajuste del cuerpo de desgaste, que puede rotar alrededor de un eje de rotación (20) que se encuentra esencialmente de forma perpendicular con respecto a un plano guía de la guía lateral (17), donde el cuerpo de desgaste (15a. 15b, 15c) está realizado con dispositivo de ajuste del cuerpo de desgaste, como elemento palpador. En un procedimiento para operar, en un instante inicial, al menos un elemento palpador (15a, 15b, 15c) se pone en contacto con un borde lateral, y mediante el elemento palpador se recogen datos adecuados, mientras que la banda de metal se desplaza delante del elemento palpador. El desplazamiento de la banda puede corregirse en base a los datos de medición recogidos, mediante medidas de corrección en una o en varias cajas de laminación y/o en una o en varias guías laterales (17) de la caja de laminación.
