Abstract

La invención proporciona métodos novedosos para genotipar embriones haploides utilizando ensayos moleculares; por ejemplo, se proporcionan métodos cuantitativos para la genotipación; los métodos proporcionados también incluyen proporcionar una pluralidad de granos haploides, determinar el genotipo del embrión haploide de dichos granos distinguiendo su genotipo del genotipo de la endosperma, seleccionar un grano que tenga un genotipo deseado y producir una planta doble haploide a partir del grano seleccionado.
