Abstract
La invención se refiere a un bloque para horno aislado que comprende: - un bloque para horno básico (20); - una capa aislante (40) que tiene una conductividad térmica inferior a 2.0 W.m-1.K-1 entre 20°C y 500°C, que es lo suficientemente como rígida para ser autoportante y cubre una superficie aislada del bloque para horno básico, en donde la superficie aislada es parte de la superficie inferior (203) del bloque para horno básico, extendiéndose en la superficie de transición inferior (2014-12), y constituyendo más de 20% de la superficie de transición inferior (2014-12), en donde la capa aislante tiene una composición química, en porcentaje en peso sobre la base de óxido, tal que Al2O3 + SiO2 + ZrO2 + CaO + Na2O + MgO + K2O + TiO2 + Fe2O3 + HfO2 + P2O5 + Y2O3 >80%.
