Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes de acuerdo con el cual es posible evitar un incremento en la cantidad de codificación en una matriz de cuantificación. Este dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes se proporciona con un convertidor ascendente para convertir ascendentemente una matriz de cuantificación, la cual se limita a un tamaño igual que o menor que el tamaño de transmisión que es el tamaño más grande que se puede permitir durante la transmisión, desde el tamaño de transmisión hasta un tamaño igual al tamaño de bloque que es la unidad de procesamiento para cuantificación o cuantificación inversa. La presente descripción puede aplicarse, por ejemplo, a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes para procesar datos de imágenes.
