Se dan a conocer métodos para mejorar la digestibilidad del pienso de grano con alta humedad y/o pienso de grano rehidratado para animales que comprende a) procesar el pienso de grano en fragmentos y b) poner en contacto los fragmentos de pienso de grano de la etapa (a) con al menos una hidrolasa de almidón que es tanto estable como activa a un pH inferior a 5.0 en combinación con al menos un inoculante que comprende al menos una cepa bacteriana.
