Abstract
Los presentes principios se refieren a un método y dispositivo para asignación de gama derivada de una primera gama de colores a una segunda gama de colores. El método comprende, en un plano de tonalidad constante, asignar la cromaticidad del color derivado de la primera gama de colores a la segunda gama de colores con una claridad constante. La asignación de cromaticidad comprende además obtener un color objetivo en la frontera de la segunda gama de colores en donde la claridad del color objetivo es mayor que o igual a la claridad de un color de máxima cromaticidad de la primera gama de colores y en donde la claridad del color objetivo es menor que la claridad de un color de máxima cromaticidad de la segunda gama de colores. En caso de que la claridad del color sea mayor que la claridad del color objetivo, la asignación de cromaticidad comprende asignar con una claridad constante la cromaticidad de un color en la frontera de la primera gama de colores por una función decreciente de cromaticidad aplicada a la claridad, en donde las salidas respectivas de la función decreciente aplicada a la claridad del color objetivo y a la claridad del blanco son la cromaticidad del color objetivo y la cromaticidad del blanco.
