Abstract

Una placa de acero inoxidable ferrítico que tiene un espesor de chapa t de 5.0 mm a 12.0 mm, que incluye una composición química que consiste, en porcentaje en masa de C: de 0.001 hasta 0.010 %, Si: de 0.01 hasta 1.0 %, Mn: de 0.01 hasta 1.0 %, P: 0.04 o menos, S: 0.010 % o menos, Cr: de 10.0 hasta 20.0 %, Ni: de 0.01 hasta 1.0 %, Ti: de 0.10 hasta 0.30 %, V: de 0.01 hasta 0.40 %, Al: de 0.005 hasta 0.3 %, N: de 0.001 hasta 0.02 %, y según sea necesario, uno o más de B, Mo, Cu, Mg, Sn, Sb, Zr, Ta, Nb, Hf, W, Co, Ca, REM y Ga, con el resto siendo Fe e impurezas inevitables, en donde en una microestructura de acero, en una sección transversal paralela a una dirección de laminación, una relación de área de estructuras que satisface cada una: diámetro mayor de grano/diámetro menor de grano de 5.0 o más es 90% o más, y un diámetro medio de grano menor de la estructura es de 100 µm o menos. El acero inoxidable ferrítico es excelente en tenacidad y adecuada para un miembro de brida de escape de automóvil y similares.
