Abstract
Se describen un método y aparato que incluyen detectar, en caso de haberlas, regiones de borde negro que rodean un cuadro recibido de contenido de programa de video y determinar un tamaño de las regiones de borde negro detectadas y, si la suma del tamaño determinado de las regiones de borde negro superior e inferior que rodean el cuadro recibido de contenido de programa de video es mayor que un valor, copiar a una memoria tampón de cuadros, una memoria tampón de decodificador de video que tiene un cuadro decodificado de contenido de programa de video ahí almacenado y copiar una memoria tampón de decodificador de inserción secundaria a la memoria tampón de cuadro.
