Abstract

Una composición adhesiva curable por humedad comprende un componente polimérico seleccionado de un óxido de polialquileno terminado en silano y/o un poliuretano; una pluralidad de fibras de wollastonita modificadas con amino-silano que tienen una relación de aspecto promedio de aproximadamente 1.5:1 a aproximadamente 12:1, y una longitud de fibra promedio de aproximadamente 6 µm a aproximadamente 825 µm; al menos dos rellenos, en donde uno de dichos rellenos no se trata y un segundo de dichos rellenos se trata con un modificador seleccionado del grupo que consiste en un derivado de ácido graso, un silano, un titanato, y mezclas de los mismos, en donde al menos uno de dichos rellenos tiene forma irregular; y un modificador de la reología. La composición preferiblemente comprende además una pluralidad de partículas de caucho granulado de forma irregular que tienen un tamaño de partícula promedio de entre aproximadamente 0.5 y 1.5 mm. La composición es útil para adherir azulejos a superficies, especialmente azulejos de gran formato a superficies de pared que se extienden sustancialmente en vertical.
