Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona, generalmente, con un agente adsorbente compuesto tipo núcleo en cubierta resistente al desgaste que comprende al menos un agente adsorbente para la eliminación de CO2 que contiene zeolita y un aglutinante sobre un núcleo denso inerte. El agente adsorbente compuesto tipo núcleo en cubierta resistente al desgaste tiene una pérdida por desgaste de menos de aproximadamente 2 % en peso. El agente adsorbente compuesto tipo núcleo en cubierta se usa, preferentemente, en un sistema de adsorción de múltiples capas en un proceso de adsorción cíclica se usa, preferentemente, en un proceso de prepurificación por PSA antes de la separación de aire criogénica.
