Abstract
En la presente se describen compuestos de espiropiperidina de acuerdo con la Fórmula l que han demostrado actividad como inhibidores de ácido graso sintasa. En la presente también se describen composiciones farmacéuticas que contienen los compuestos de espiropiperidina descritos, y métodos para tratar enfermedades mediadas por ácido graso sintasas, mediante la administración de uno o más de los compuestos o formulaciones farmacéuticas descritas en la presente. En la presente también se describen métodos para sintetizar los compuestos descritos, incluyendo los compuestos de espiropiperidina descritos y los productos intermedios sintéticos que son útiles en tales síntesis.
