Abstract
Aditivos que actúan para controlar la expansión de arcilla en formaciones perforadas sin afectar negativamente las propiedades del fluido de perforación comprenden funcionalidades de bis-3-aminopropil éter amina, un derivado del mismo, o mezclas del mismo. La amina se deriva por bis-cianoetilación de funcionalidades de hidroxilo terminales e hidrogenación subsecuente de los grupos terminales nitrilo en aminas primarias de bis-3-aminopropilo. La cadena principal comprende diéteres o poliéteres a base de: óxido de etileno (EO), óxido de propileno (PO) y todos los isómeros potenciales de di- o poliéteres de butilo. Tales bis-3-aminopropil éter aminas pueden incluir, pero sin estar limitadas a, aminas con la siguiente fórmula: H2N-R'-O-(RO) x-R'-NH2 donde R' es (CH2)3; y R es: 1.) C2H4, con x siendo 2-10, o 2.) C3H6 ramificado, con x siendo 1-17, o 3.) C4H8 ramificado o lineal, con x siendo 1-15, o 4.) C6H12 lineal, con x siendo 1, o 5.) Ciclohexil-1,4-dimetilo, con x siendo 1 y mezclas de las mismas, incluyendo, sin limitación, Jeffaminas (aminas de poliéter serie D, M o XTJ), cloruro de potasio, cloruro de colina y derivados incluyendo sales ácidas parciales de las aminas tales como los ácidos minerales o ácidos carboxílicos con 1-6 carbonos.
