Abstract
En el presente documento se describen métodos para detectar ácido ascórbico en una muestra de orina de un sujeto. Los métodos comprenden, poner en contacto al menos una porción de la muestra de orina con una tira reactiva, la cual comprende una almohadilla reactiva; y detectar si el ácido ascórbico está presente en la muestra de orina. La detección comprende medir una intensidad de color en la almohadilla reactiva, en donde una reducción en la misma indica la presencia de ácido ascórbico.
