Abstract
Se describe una bomba centrífuga accionada magnéticamente que tiene una carcasa de bomba, un impulsor de álabes abierto en la carcasa de la bomba, una caja de empaquetadura que incluye un exterior de la caja de empaquetadura que se fija con relación a la carcasa de la bomba, y un interior de la caja de empaquetadura acoplado de manera roscada con el exterior de la caja de empaquetadura, y un rotor fijado axialmente y montado de forma giratoria en el interior de la caja de empaquetadura. Los bujes están dispuestos entre el rotor y el interior de la caja de empaquetadura. Un accionador está fijo en relación con la carcasa de la bomba e incluye una salida del accionador que se extiende dentro del rotor. Existe un acoplamiento magnético entre el rotor y el accionador, y un recipiente fijado a la caja de empaquetadura y que se extiende a través del acoplamiento magnético para aislar el rotor del accionador. Un anillo de fricción cierra el interior de la caja de empaquetadura y restringe la salida del accionador para que no dañe el recipiente debido a una falla catastrófica del cojinete.
