Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing lacquered glass, comprising: depositing, on one face of a glass sheet, a layer of a liquid composition containing a curable organic binder and magnetisable particles dispersed in the organic binder: creating a magnetic field in the immediate vicinity of the layer of liquid composition, such as to orientate and/or move the magnetisable particles and thus create a visible pattern; and curing the organic binder. The three steps are carried out while the glass sheet is transported by means of a conveyor successively before: a device for depositing a liquid composition, a device for creating a magnetic field, and a device for curing the organic binder. The method is characterized in that the device for creating a magnetic field is an endless belt mounted on at least two rotating rollers, of which at least one is driven by a motor, the surface of the endless belt being provided with one or more magnetic elements.
