Abstract
Un proceso, que comprende: proporcionar una fuente de alimentación de olefina que comprende pentenos, butenos e isopentano; y alquilar la fuente de alimentación de olefina con isobutano usando un catalizador líquido iónico acídico; en donde un rendimiento del isopentano en un producto de gasolina de alquilato corresponde a menos de 15 % mol de olefinas C5 en la fuente de alimentación y la gasolina de alquilato ha definido el punto de ebullición final y el RON alto. Un proceso que comprende: alquilar una fuente de alimentación de olefina que comprende pentenos e isopentano, con isobutano usando un catalizador líquido iónico acídico; en donde un rendimiento del isopentano en la gasolina de alquilato corresponde a menos de 15 % mol de olefinas C5 en la fuente de alimentación; y en donde un rendimiento del producto del n-pentano es bajo. Una gasolina de alquilato, que comprende menos de 0.1 % en peso de olefinas y compuestos aromáticos, menos de 1.8 % en peso de hidrocarburos C12+, y más del 60 % en peso de hidrocarburos C8 y C9 combinados, en donde se definen el trimetilpentano en los hidrocarburos C8 y el trimetilhexano en los hidrocarburos C9.
