Abstract
Se describe el proceso para la purificación del solvente que se deriva de la producción de una combinación elastomérica que comprende los siguientes pasos: (a) opcionalmente, someter el solvente a un pre-lavado (2) en presencia de al menos una solución acuosa ácida o básica; (b) alimentar el solvente a una columna de separación de líquido-líquido (7); (c) alimentar la corriente que deja la parte superior de la columna de separación de líquido-líquido (7) a una columna de destilación azeotrópica (21); (d) alimentar la corriente retirada lateralmente (retiro lateral) de la columna de destilación azeotrópica (21) hacia una sección de adsorción (34a/b); el proceso permite obtener un solvente de grado polimérico que tenga una calidad adecuada para ser utilizado indistintamente y contemporáneamente en diversos tipos de plantas de producción de (co)polímeros elastoméricos, es decir, en plantas en donde se lleve a cabo una (co)polimerización aniónica, y también en plantas en donde se lleve a cabo una (co)polimerización de Ziegler-Natta.
