Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a variantes de serinproteasa que tienen una mejora de las propiedades en comparación con la proteasa progenitora, en particular variantes de una serinproteasa obtenida a partir de una cepa de Meripilus giganteus que pertenece a la familia S53. Las variantes de acuerdo con la invención presentan en particular un incremento de la estabilidad, por ejemplo, incremento de la termoestabilidad, incremento de la actividad específica y/o incremento de los niveles de expresión, en comparación con la proteasa progenitora. La presente invención también se refiere a polinucleótidos que codifican las variantes; a constructos de ácido nucleico, vectores y células hospedadoras que comprenden los polinucleótidos; y a métodos para usar las variantes.
