Abstract

Un sistema y un método para secar el cemento de tapón en un cuerpo de panal de cerámica durante la fabricación de cuerpos de panal de cerámica taponados; el sistema incluye un elemento calentador (520) configurado para calentar inmediatamente sin contacto una cara (502) de un cuerpo de panal cerámico (500) tapado con un cemento de tapón húmedo (510) para secar rápidamente y endurecer el cemento de tapón (510) en la cara (502) del cuerpo de panal cerámico (500); el método incluye aplicar inmediatamente calor sin contacto a la cara (502) de un cuerpo de panal de cerámica (500) que tiene cemento de tapón húmedo (510) dispuesto en canales (508) del cuerpo de panal de cerámica en la cara, y secar y endurecer rápidamente el cemento de tapón sobre la cara del cuerpo de panal de cerámica.
