Abstract

Se describe en la presente un método novedoso para procesar material vegetal para producir un material que contiene celulosa. El proceso comprende las etapas de: (i) poner en contacto las partículas del material vegetal con un agente de peróxido y agua; (ii) permitir que la mezcla de la etapa (i) se hidrate hasta que el pH de la mezcla sea pH 4.5 o menos; (iii) homogenizar la mezcla de la etapa (ii) y aislar el material que contiene celulosa, y en donde las partículas del material vegetal en la etapa (i) tienen un diámetro de partícula promedio desde 10 µm hasta 800 µm.
