Abstract

Se dan a conocer una aleación hipereutéctica de hierro blanco y artículos tales como componentes de bomba fabricados de la misma. Además de hierro e impurezas inevitables, la aleación comprende, en porcentaje en peso basado en el peso total de la aleación, de 3 a 6 de C, de 0.01 a 1.2 de N, de 0.1 a 4 de B, de 3 a 48 de Cr, de 0.1 a 7.5 de Ni, y de 1 a 4 de Si y, opcionalmente, uno o más de Mn, Co, Cu, Mo, W, V, Mg, Ca, elementos de tierras raras, Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr, Hf, Al.
