Abstract
Se proporciona una tinta de seguridad que incluye un medio líquido que tiene una pluralidad de puntos cuánticos dispuestos en el mismo. Tras la excitación con una fuente de luz adecuada, la tinta exhibe un rendimiento cuántico superior al 30% y una fotoluminiscencia que tiene una duración de más de 40 nanosegundos y que varía al menos en un 5% a través del espectro de emisión de los puntos cuánticos. También se divulgan aparatos para su uso con fines de autenticación o contra la falsificación, que identifican de manera única la presencia de materiales fotoluminiscentes resolviendo espectralmente su duración de fotoluminiscencia.
