Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para determinar la presencia de fracturas naturales llenas de hidrocarburos con extensión lateral suficiente en un pozo en el que se pretende realizar la estimulación por fracturación hidráulica. Después de la perforación de un intervalo, se bombea un fluido en el pozo y se recolecta una traza de respuesta de presión. El fluido se bombea a una velocidad que es menor de la velocidad de bombeo para el trabajo de fracturación propuesto y la velocidad de recolección de datos es mayor de la velocidad de recolección de datos para el trabajo de fracturación propuesto. Los elementos característicos se identifican en la traza de respuesta de presión cuyo valor y combinación indican la presencia o ausencia de fracturas naturales llenas de hidrocarburos con extensión lateral suficiente en el intervalo.
