Abstract

La invención se relaciona a un componente endurecido por deformación hecho de acero galvanizado, un método para producir una tira o banda de acero que es adecuada para el endurecimiento por deformación de los componentes y un método para la producción de un componente endurecido por deformación hecho de esta tira de acero. El componente endurecido por deformación hecho de acero galvanizado, en donde primero una placa se corta de una tira de acero o lámina de acero recubierta con zinc o una aleación a base de zinc, subsecuentemente se calienta a una temperatura de deformación arriba de Ac3 y se deforma y también se endurece, teniendo por lo menos una estructura de transformación parcialmente martensítica después de que se ha conformado, en donde el acero tiene la siguiente composición química en % en peso: C: 0.10 - 0.50, Si: 0.01 - 0.50, Mn: 0.50 a 2.50, P<0.02, S<0.0l, N<0.01, Al: 0.015 - 0.100, B<0.004, el resto hierro, que incluye elementos de fundición y asociados con el acero inevitables, que tiene por lo menos un elemento del grupo Nb, V, Ti, en donde la suma del contenido de Nb+V+Ti está en un intervalo de 0.01 a 0.20% en peso, en donde la estructura del acero después del proceso de endurecimiento por deformación tiene un tamaño de grano promedio de los granos de austenita formadores de <15.
