Abstract

Proceso para reticular polipropileno que comprende los pasos de (a) tratar una mezcla de (i) polipropileno, (ii) una monoazida funcionalizada con maleimida y/o una monoazida funcionalizada con citraconimida y (iii) un secuestrador de radicales seleccionado del grupo que consiste en hidroquinona, derivados de hidroquinona, benzoquinona, derivados de benzoquinona, catecol, derivados de catecol, 2,2,6,6-tetrametilpiperidinooxi (TEMPO), derivados de TEMPO y combinaciones de los mismos, a una temperatura en el rango de 120-250°C para formar un polipropileno funcionalizado y (b) hacer reaccionar el polipropileno funcionalizado con un peróxido a una temperatura en el rango de 150-350°C.
