Abstract
Un sistema de rastreo de ubicaciones que comprende: una etiqueta configurada para asociarse y fijarse exclusivamente a un elemento, la etiqueta además configurada para emitir automática y periódicamente una primera señal, la primera señal es una señal de Bluetooth configurada para enviarse y recibirse mediante una red de área personal inalámbrica de baja energía de Bluetooth; un transmisor receptor que tiene una funcionalidad de recepción de señales de Bluetooth, el transmisor receptor configurado para recibir automáticamente la primera señal desde la etiqueta cuando el transmisor receptor se encuentra dentro de un alcance de difusión de la etiqueta sin requerir el pareado del transmisor receptor y la etiqueta, el transmisor receptor además configurado para transmitir una segunda señal; un sistema de datos configurado para ser accesible en forma remota para el transmisor receptor y para recibir la segunda señal transmitida desde el transmisor receptor, el sistema de datos comprende por lo menos un servidor para ejecutar tareas y un almacén de datos conectado al o los servidores para el almacenamiento de datos, la segunda señal se transmite mediante una red a la cual se conecta el transmisor receptor, la red es por lo menos una de una red móvil celular y una red inalámbrica; y una aplicación configurada para instalarse en el transmisor receptor, la aplicación configurada para permitir al transmisor receptor recibir automáticamente la primera señal e iniciar la transmisión de la segunda señal del transmisor receptor al sistema de datos.
