Abstract
Un aparato para clasificar una semilla como endogámica o híbrida comprende una fuente de señales en terahercios para emitir una señal en terahercios hacia la semilla, un detector para detectar al menos parte de la señal en terahercios que ha interactuado con la semilla, un escáner para mover el soporte con respecto a la señal en terahercios para proporcionar un escaneo de la semilla, un dispositivo de procesamiento de datos para formar datos de imagen a partir de la señal en terahercios detectada según se obtenga para una pluralidad de posiciones durante el escaneo de la semilla, y un sistema de soporte de decisiones para proporcionar una clasificación a partir de los datos de imagen.
