Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a la transmisión de series de datos y metadatos y muy en particular a la transmisión de contenidos de campo luminoso. Los datos de campo luminoso ocupan grandes cantidades de espacio de almacenamiento lo cual hace el almacenamiento complicado y el procesamiento menos eficiente. Además los dispositivos de adquisición de campo luminoso son extremadamente heterogéneos y cada cámara tiene su propio formato de archivo. Debido a que los datos de campo luminoso adquiridos de diferentes cámaras tienen una diversidad de formatos, un procesamiento complejo se induce en el lado receptor. Para este fin, se propone un método para codificar una señal representativa de un contenido de campo luminoso en el cual los parámetros que representan los rayos de luz detectados por los diferentes pixeles del sensor son mapeados en el sensor. Una segunda serie de parámetros codificados son utilizados para reconstruir el contenido de campo luminoso a partir de los parámetros que representan los rayos de luz detectados por los diferentes pixeles del sensor.
