Abstract

Se describe un sistema y método para mejorar la cinética de lixiviación y la recuperación durante la lixiviación atmosférica anterior de un sulfuro de metal. En algunas modalidades, el método puede comprender los pasos de: (a) producir un concentrado de sulfuro de metal [34] por flotación; (b) mover el concentrado de sulfuro de metal producido [34] a por lo menos una cámara [22a] de por lo menos un reactor tal como una autoclave [20] ; (c) lixiviar el concentrado de sulfuro de metal producido en por lo menos una cámara [22a] en la presencia de oxígeno [82] a una presión y/o temperatura superior a la ambiente, y en la presencia de medios de molido parcialmente utilizados [25] y/o nuevos [92] dentro de por lo menos una cámara [22a].
